Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato (born August 20th, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actress. She made her debut as a child actress in Barney & Friends, along with Selena Gomez. In 2008, she came to prominence as a starring cast member in the television film Camp Rock. She signed to Hollywood Records the same year, and released her debut studio album Don't Forget in September 2008. She has released three more albums since then. Her most recent was 2013's Demi.

Lovato is one of Selena Gomez's best friends. The two co-starred in the Disney Channel movie Princess Protection Program in 2009. They have also recorded two songs together, "One and the Same" (from Princess Protection Program) and "Send It On" (also with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers).
